BeeApp does not collect your personal data. There is no account, no sign-up and no advertising. We do not have a server that stores anything about you.
Video lessons pause at marked moments and ask you to repeat a letter or a word aloud. Speech recognition runs entirely on your phone (iPhone or Android) using a model bundled with the app. Audio is processed in memory as you speak: it is never sent over the network and never seen by us or by anyone else.
The microphone is used only inside a lesson, only during those few seconds, and only after you have granted permission.
All of this stays on the device and is removed when you delete the app. Deleting the app deletes the data.
Quran text, translations and recitation audio are provided by
Quran Foundation and requested from
their public API (api.quran.com, verses.quran.com).
Like any web request, those services receive your device's IP address and may
keep their own logs. We send them no identifier and nothing about you: there is
no account, so there is nothing to send.
Their handling of that data is governed by Quran Foundation's own policies: Developer Terms.
Quran content fetched from that API is cached on your device for no longer than seven days, as their terms require. Expired content is never used and is deleted when the app next opens.
The app makes no other network requests. There is no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK and no third-party tracker of any kind.
BeeApp does not track you across apps or websites, and does not use the Advertising Identifier.
BeeApp is suitable for all ages and collects nothing from anyone, children included.
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new date.
